A Brief History of the Company

In August of 1995, three enterprising college students decided that what the world needed was a faster way to dispense draft beer.

By August of 2005, the company that came out of that idea, Laminar Technologies, LLC, was on the cover of the Wall Street Journal and their flagship product, TurboTap, was named one of the best inventions of the year by Time Magazine and Popular Mechanics.

Today, Laminar Technologies, LLC has installed TurboTap and provided draft system optimization services in stadiums from San Diego to Seattle to New York to Tampa. Laminar, in conjunction with its partners, has improved speed and efficiency in bars and restaurants around the country.

The management team at Laminar has experience in finance, sales, marketing, technical services and product development in a variety of industries and companies from start-up, high-tech entrepreneurial ventures to national breweries. The field operations team is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable and efficient draft service groups in the industry.
